It even reads the coding info off the new chip. It recognizes the existing DME and the existing EWS module. I will be using the 5speed key and EWS module so I can be sure I can drive it arond after the swap but I really want to be able to realign my two original keys to that new DME when Im done. I want to realign the EWS with MY two keys after I install it so I swapped that chip from the 5 speed car into one of my keys and tried to align it with my car using INPA. I have the DME and EWS module and one chip from the key from the 5 speed car so they all match. Its the same DME so Im not worried about that part. I want to use the DME out of a 96 328is 5 speed car so I have less issues with the swap. I have a 97 328 vert and I'll be doing a manual/auto tranny swap soon.
